Ainsley Kate vs. Ainslie Kate vs. Ainslee Kate

Which spelling do you prefer and why? My husband and I both like the "lee" spelling, while I like the "ley" spelling, and he likes the "lie" spelling. No matter what spelling we decide on, her middle name is going to be Kate. Thanks! Rebecca

Ainsley is a surname that is now given as a first name and this is the spelling that the majority of people will know. I personally think that this spelling looks the most polished and not as trendy as the other two, but it will also cause less confusion for others and less corrections on your part and your daughter's.

Always stick with the traditional spelling. It makes life easier. Ainsley. Ainsley Kate is very cute.

That's not true at all. My child's name is spelled a little differently and there's never been a problem with people spelling it.

Spelling counts, the incorrect spelling always just makes a name look cheap. That said, not a fan of the sound of this name at all. Sounds painful.
