Adelyn vs. What vs. Do you think?

I love this name! Someone done a poll earlier with this name and someone said this name sounded old. What are everyones thoughts on that? I didnt know it did, but if it does, I dont know whether or not I should use this name. Wouldnt that mean Madelyn sounded old also? WDYT?
