Taylor vs. Boy?? vs. Girl??
Hi everyone...me again! We have decided to try for a third....and we are very excited! Thanks to all who commented on the polls. Now, we are trying to decide the girls name(if we have a girl) (I will make a similar poll for boys) and we like Gabrielle, Lily, Elizabeth, Isabella (or Isobel), Kirstin and Taylor, but were wondering which gender you think of when you hear the name Taylor. I don’t really like unisex names, just because I want people to know my child is a girl or boy from their name, but we think Taylor is pretty! I am interested to see if you think it’s a girl’s name or boys! Thank you so very much, your help is much appreciated! Thanks!

They are Isaac David (after my husband) who is turning 3 on December 16th, and Naomi Isobel (after a family friend) who was 1 in August. Yes, they will be close in age, but I love them! I’m not sure about Taylor for a first name...possibly for a middle name? xx mandii, what do you think about our list? Thanks!

I love the names Isaac & Naomi. They’re SO cute. I think it is adorable how close in age they are. When I get older, I would love to have children so close so they can play.

Hmmmm....I like it but it’s my sister’s name too, so I think we’re going to scratch that...I love the name, but I think at family get togethers it could get confusing. I’m really liking Gabrielle (nn Gabby) and Elizabeth nn Lizzie is growing on me. Lily was my choice at the begining but, I don’t know if I like it any more. Why don’t you like Gabrielle? (just wondering) I also like Isabella as does my husband because he’s Italian. Do you like these too?

Isabella Kirsten would be really cute =] I love the nn Bella. I’m not sure, I just have never liked Gabrielle. I think it sounds sort of stuffy. I mean, I love Gabrielle nn Ella and Gabriel [boy] but not Gabrielle. I love Sydney. Sydney Emma would be cute ;] how about :

I don’t care for Greta, Heidi, Gretchen or Elsie, sorry. I still like Gabrielle, sorry again... I like Isabella...we would probably call her Izzy or Bella, but do you think it ages well? What other names can you think of? Thanks for your help xx mandii!!

I think Isabella ages perfectly =] The reasons I sugested those other names were because I know a family with a girl named Sydney, and twins named Kirsten and Kylee. They were considering all those names for their twins, so I just thought I’d throw them out there ;]

Out of your list i like Gabrielle, Isabella, isobel and Taylor.
I’ve only ever known one person with the name Taylor and that was a girl. I think that Isobel would age better than Isabella.
My favourite would have to be Gabrielle.(my daughter’s middle name is Gabriella)

Thanks for your list! I like Bridget and Evelyn (I got that from Eve!). I’m liking Isabella though...but our last name starts with an I and since we have Isaac I think that might be weird.....what do you think? Thanks for putting up with me. By the way, the kids see me typing and they say hi. *smile*

I think Bridget would be cute with the kids names. Isaac & Isabella don’t sound weird together, but if your last name starts with an I & you already did that to Isaac... it should be fine =]
Also, if you call her Bella then it would be perfect. Try asking the kids what they like, I have to go now but GL & again, Congrats <3

Sorry i’ve just noticed you say you have a daughter named Naomi Isobel, May i just say that means your daughter has the middle name Isobel i wouldn’t use isobel or Isabella for your baby if it is a girl

Yes I think your right Lauren, but I am so completely stuck, and I got pregnant very soon with my first too, so I’m expecting to be told we’ll have another girl or boy pretty soon! Any names you recommend Lauren? You said you had kids...do you mind sharing their names? ThankS!
