Stella Eleanor vs. ? Eleanor

I am the 4th Eleanor in my family. I don’t want to name my daughters fn Eleanor but would love to keep it as a 2nd name to keep the name going. However we really like Stella but I am concerned how they sound together with our last name. Do you like it or any suggestions to go with Eleanor? Thank you

I don’t think Stella Eleanor flows very well. It’s too much of the "el" sound together. Are there any other first names you love?

Thank you so much for the suggestions. I guess I knew it wasn’t really going to work, I just can’t find that one name that I know is the name!

What sort of names do you like, maybe give a few in which may help us to find names that are similar

How about Stella Norelle? Stella is a beautiful name and sounds nice with your last name. I wouldn’t let the fact that you can’t use it with Eleanor as a mn deter you. I’d use it, and since you’re changing the tradition anyway, change it up a bit more and switch around the letters to form a mn that’s more compatible with Stella.

Names that I like are all over the map. I like Amita, Addison, Rory, Marisol... those are probably my top ones.

Stella Norelle is very nice though.

I kind of like it, Stella-ella is sort of cute and I don’t see a huge problem with it. If you don’t like it though I’d change the first name, how about:

Erin Eleanor
Tessa Eleanor
Marie Eleanor
Carla nn Carly Eleanor
Kimberly Eleanor
Emma Eleanor
Sinah Eleanor
Maureen Eleanor
June Eleanor
Holly Eleanor

I hope that helps, don’t worry too much about it, Eleanor is a great MN and you clearly have good taste in FNs.
