I was watching Caillou the other day and one of the little girl’s name was Mara. They pronounced it like Sara. Anyway, it sounded nice on the show. What do you think of Mara. I’m not fond of the meaning, but I like the sound of it. Any thoughts?

Hi! Mara reminds me Mary...and I don’t like Mary...sorry.
I prefer Sara, Cara or Lara.

It’s alright.. I’ve never heard it before but it sounds cute. Not my favorite name but it’s definitely better than a lot of other names that I’ve heard in my life.
