Grayson Parker vs. Rylan Wade

We cannot decide. I like the sound of Grayson but I want it spelled Gracin, wife says no. And for Rylan I am not sure of the middle name Wade. Suggestions?

Grayson Parker is a great name, and I would definitely spell it Grayson for a boy. Gracin looks like a girl’s name. Rylan Parker would also be nice, not really a fan of the name Wade.

Gracin is the female spelling. I think that Wade does go well with Rylan

I like Grayson Parker. Your wife is right about the spelling. We usually are;) I also dont really like Wade but it goes well with Rylan.

I’ll bet she doesn’t like Gracin because it looks too much like Grace, and that’s definitely a girl’s name. Grayson looks so much more boyish. Grayson Parker is a great name, I like it much better than Rylan

Grayson Parker is an Awesom name. Your wife is right about not spelling it Gracin. That looks way to girly.

Grayson, Gracin
Nickname - Gracie
No good.
Go with Rylan Wade

Out of those two names I like Grayson the best and agreed, the other spelling is spelled for a girl.

I agree with a comment above. I like Rylan Parker. Not Rylan Wade. Dont really like Wade. Wade sounds like a Grandpa name. HAHA- no offense!

Rylan is a great name, but I think it should be Rylan Parker. I like that better than Wade

His name is Rylan because it goes with his best friend & cousin Dylan and they will possibly have the same birthday. It’s fate working it’s magic. Plus, I already have a niece named Gracie.

First choice: Rylan Parker. Second choice: Rylan Wade. Third Choice: Grayson Parker. I know a little boy named Gracin, and people who see his name always think he’s a girl.

Grayson Parker. Gracin is too feminine. But I love both.

Grayson, definitely. I don’t like names that sound made-up or are not the traditional spelling. That said, Grayson is much better than Gracin or Rylan even without that caveat.

I like Grayson, but I hate the spelling like Gracin. Sorry, I agree with everyone else it looks very feminine.

definitely Grayson. do not spell it Gracin, it is much too feminine. I also think Rylan sounds girly.

I really like the name Grayson. The spelling "Gracin" looks like a pharmaceutical name to me.

Gracin looks like the name of a medicine to me. No bueno. My vote is for Rylan Wade (sounds very Southern - like a cowboy!) but I really think you should name him Rylan Parker.

Love Grayson, but like everyone else Gracin is very a girly spelling

I like Grayson, but only if it’s not spelled Gracin--it looks too much like a girl’s name spelled that way...
posted by guest :: 2008-12-11 12:05:50 | report
If I saw the name Gracin somewhere, I would think it was referring to a female. I like both names, but with the spelling of Grayson.

67 to 43 Rylan so far.
But it looks like I mighr have to do another poll of Rylan Wade vs. Rylan Parker
From the Dad.

Rylan Wade sounds like he would be fun and sporty. Grayson Parker sounds too sophisticated. Sounds like it should be Grayson Parker III (the Third) and will wear plaid and a little red bowtie. hahaha That is just my honest opinion.

There are shenanigans going on here now. 1 hour and 20 mins ago it was 67 to 43 for Rylan. Now itís 81 to 80 for Grayson. The poll has been tainted.

Go with Rylan, less syllables and the last name is a mouthful. Also initials are very important, you do not want your child mistaken for a global positioing device.

Rylan is a terrible made-up name. Grayson is the way to go. The spelling of Gracin makes you look illiterate.

This is going to be my first Grandson - why not Donald? Yeah Yeah I know too old school right?

Grayson means "son of the bailiff"
Rylan means "dweller in the rye field"

I already told you if you spell it Greyson I love Greyson Parker but if you are going to sissy-fy it then I voted for Rylan Wade.

I think in the long run ya’ll will pick the right name for my grandson, i like both names but would think about the mouth full he will have to learn how to say as well as spell so why not make it easy whats wrong with dads name in some form like Rylan Ray third generation middle name. Grandma G.
