girl name vs. Arleigh vs. spelling

Saw this name suggested on a poll below and fell in love. I would love to name my second daughter it, but my husband and I are really unsure on the spelling. While researching the name, we came to like the spellings: Arlie, Arlee, Arley as well as Arleigh. Any middle name suggestions? Baby is joining Eleni Sloan. We don't mind that their names will end the same. Thank you.

My go-to site*, behindthename .com, lists Arlie as a unisex name from a surname, meaning "eagle's wood." It notes that it is also used as a nickname for Arlene. Good luck! :0)

Thank you. I definitely think we've eliminated Arleigh. I'm leaning towards Arlie, but my husband likes Arlee too. The only think I'm worried about with Arlie, is the -lie being pronounced like LIE, rather than LEE. For middle names, I like Estelle, Hazel, and Gwyneth.

I can't even pronounce Arlie with a long I at the end. It even looks like Charlie, so I think you're safe with an E sound at the end. :0)

Arlie!! You shouldnt have to worry about the lie bit as there is Rosalie, Natalie, Emilie etc all pronounced "lee"
