YES, I think that the name would go well since they are all classic names and her nn could be Carrie and Cara if you so choose. Charlotte and Carolynn also work :)
There is a little girl in kindergarten in my sons elementary school and she is very cute and her name fits her so well. She is so joyful :)
can you really choose your child’s nn?!? I don’t think so...It might not be your case but I think it’s silly to choose a name base on the nn, you might want people to call her Cara and it might work for family members but once she goes to school kids might call her Lili, Kay, Caro...

I think Cara is a name by itself. If you like it then just use Cara. Or maybe you should spell Caroline differently where it is obvious that you got Cara as a nn like Caralyn. Otherwise, I don’t see Cara as a nn for Caroline...that’s like Ellie being a nn for Elizabeth. It’s not in the name.

i dont agree with above. when you say the name caroline the first sound is cara. and you can choose your childs nn when she is a baby. thats why you should name her caroline so she can go by that when shes older if she wants. i think caroline is lovely and so is cara GL
