www.ssa.gov can tell you if it’s popular. I love Charlotte. Both nicknames are cute. I would wait to see what kind of child she is before giving her a nn. Charlie is more tomboyish and sporty and Lottie is really girly and cute.

Charlotte’s definitely coming back. I hate the name. Charlie is a boys name. I don’t like it on a girl. It’s I guess you could say.. "butch." Lottie’s just not pretty. I always see those in the Obituaries section. Not that I read those often. Just the few times a year I do, I see Lottie a few times. If you’re doing it to honor someone, you should probably use their mn bc Charlotte doesn’t really go with anything.

It’s definitely popular in these polls, but I don’t know how popular in the real world. I really dislike the name and both nicknames. Charlie is an excellent nn for Charles though.
