I could possibly see it for a boy, but would really have a hard time seeing it for a girl. What about taking some of the letters and making something a little more feminine out of them....
Mira or Myra
Alta
Aida (pronounced I-eee-dah)
Ada

I think it’s a little too much. Maybe a middle name?

Oooh, especially not for a girl if you live in the NW. How many times would she have to hear people chuckling about the Admiralty Inlet in a coarse humor sort of way.
I think you’re trying too hard to come up with something interesting. Get back to basics: find a list of classic female names (a list of first ladies of the US is a good place to start) and pretend that you’re required to find a name there. Not that you have to, of course -- it’s just a good exercise.

I think it’s too weird maybe use part of it as first or middle name. Maybe Aiden for a boy, Ada Mira, or Amy for a girl. You could try to scramble the letters around to create names like Lara or Tara.

I don’t like it. Maybe use it as a middle name? You could use Addie?
