Sophie Kate vs. Emma Grace vs. Sophie Elisabeth

Which one for our second girl due in just a few weeks? I had Emma Grace picked for years but it is just so popular I started to waiver and am now leaning towards Sophie Kate. I am also a little worried about Sophie Kate sounding like the word suffocate??? Thoughts??? PS- We definitely DO NOT like Sophia...

i like Sophie Grace best, Emma Grace is a really popular combo and i really don’t like the name Emma at all, Sophie is cute though but that is also really popular, i didn’t realise about Sophie Kate until you said but i don’t really like Kate as a middle name, if you’re gonna use Elisabeth i love the spelling

Sophie Kate doesnt flow well..I didn’t think of suffocate till you mentioned it..so that woudln’t be a problem..I just don’t think they work well together..

I looked at the names before I read your comment, and I immediately thought Sophie Kate sounded like suffocate, but I thought maybe I was just a little weird haha...but since apparently you noticed it too, I would probably avoid that name. I voted Sophie Elisabeth, but if you are open to other middle name suggestions, I’m sure we can think of some other nice ones :o)

Emma is my number one pick for a girl so far. I was going to be named Emma, but my parents chose Kate instead. I love Emma Kate together and will probably name my baby girl this (if I have one lol)...but I will pass this suggestion on to you since we seem to have similar tastes. I love Sophie as well, but unfortunately Sophie Kate does sound a bit like suffocate. You might like Emma Louise (classic middle name) or Sophie Clair. Sorry to add more choices :) Good luck and congrats!

I LOVE the name Emma Kate on a gal, it would be adorable! Sophie Kate does sound somewhat like suffocate. Sophie Grace is nice, too. Sophie is almost as popular as Emma, so it wouldn’t make much of a difference using Sophie instead of Emma. But I do love Emma Kate (Emma Grace is pretty, too). GL!

I would...they may be popular, but they are classic and will be great names for all time while these unique names become odd in future generations.

I love Emma Grace or Emma Kate even if they are popular.I think Emma is so much prettier than Sophie which is very popular too, so doesn’t solve the problem.You might as well go with the original name you loved-
Emma Grace.

I LOVE Emma Grace. It’s the sweetest name I have ever heard of, but can not use it because I already have a Grace ;[
