Just looking for some help... I have one daughter already, Isabella (Bella) and we’re expecting another girl. We want to go with Jamie, but we’re hesitant because one of my good friends has a son named James. Is this going to be a problem? We see them all the time, but would it be okay, since they’re not siblings?

I think it would be ok but I don’t think it goes very well with you other daughters name. Isabelle sounds formal and Jamie sounds babyish, but there is no law saying they have to go well together. Good Luck.

agree with what the first poster said it just seems like Isabella would have a sister named something like Julianna not Jamie but that’s probably just me being too "matchy"

I love Jamie and it seems totally seperate from James. Jamie is more feminine and James is all boy.

What about the name Jamison (Jamyson) for a girl with the nn Jamie. I also have a good friend and her name is Jaymi. I love that spelling. Good luck!
