Antonia vs. Petra or Katelyn vs. Anna or Alice

Hi there! We’re debating on some names. Each one was a family member that we’d like to honor, so no bashing! Antonia, Petra, Anna (pronounced An-a, not Ah-na), or Alice. Help would be much loved, as well as middle names, and, very important, NICKNAMES! As much as we’d love to honor these family members, we need a nickname for our daughter to fall back on in case she doesn’t like her full name too much. That’s where creative nicknames and middle names come in. Thanks in advance! The Cheval

I like Katelyn, Anna, and Alice without any nicknames. These are all names that will age well and she should like. Middle names for any of them could be:

Jolie
Beth
Elizabeth
Rose
Sofia
Michelle


These could use nicknames:

-Antonia: Annie, Toni, Ania (an-ya)
-Petra (i’m ot sure of a nickname for this one, but you could always call her by her middle name)

Any of them would be beautiful and i’m sure these people would be honored to have you name your daughter after them! Good Luck!

I don’t like Antonia & Petra. They just aren’t real pretty & feminine. And they’re just too different. Petra reminds me of a ln. If you have to use it, I’d use it as a mn. I think Alice is nice. Ali for short if you need to. Alice Antonia maybe?
