Creative vs. Ideas

Sorry, this isn’t for a baby name. I found out I am pregnant, and only my husband knows so far. We are planning on waiting until next month to tell our families at my birthday dinner. I was wondering if anyone had any creative ideas on how to tell them?! My idea was to have my son wear a shirt that says I’m going to be a big brother, but I am not sure everyone would notice it/catch on. Any sugegstions would be great! Thanks!!

I bought my parents a card that said congradulates to the new grandparents..with my son my daughter I bought a baby outfit and gave it to them..but since its your birthday have your hubby buy you a gift that says something with mother on it..like a locket neckles and then show it to everyone..

You could take a picture of you, your husband, and son. Put it in a picture frame and give it to your family. And put a little not with it saying ’don’t the four of us look great’ or something like that. My I honestly think that having your son wear a shirt that says "i’m gonna be a big brother" is a great idea! a lady that I know..had two children at this time and her little girl was wearing a shirt that said "i’m gonna be a big sister" and we all caught on to it. But GL!

I like the "Big Brother" t-shirt idea. When we were pregnant with our second, we simply sent folks a picture of our daughter with a "BIG SISTER" t-shirt on. Everyone got it right away. Congratulations!

Maybe I will have my son wear the t-shirt! I really wanted to invole him!! Thanks everyone! And for family that live farther away I can take the picture of him in it and send it to them! Thanks again!

I didn’t see that you already had a son..getting a shirt that says I’m the big brother would be a great idea..

With my daughter, we got my parents a picture frame with a little teddy bear and rattle on it. Instead of a picture we put a paper that said, "Baby Lastname, picture to follow in late July". My mom thought it was really neat.

well if your going out to dinner you could arrange with the server to bring out a high chair with balloons and on it and stuff baby like and then also have your son wearing the t-shirt

Make little name cards and place them on the table in the order you want them to sit and make one for the little baby aswell and maybe get a high chair by the table
