Davin Michael vs. Colton James
We are having such a hard time picking a name this time and really need your help. If this helps Colton means from a coal town and Davin (like Gavin but with a D) means Beloved. I like them both equally. My husband will only do James and Michael as mns only. I want an uncommon name and I think Colton is growing in popularity so its really putting me on the fence. If it helps his big brother is named Braiden. Can you help us pick? Please dont be rude these are real names even if they are not your taste please let us know which one sounds the best. Thanks!!!

Davin is a great choice! I love the meaning. Davin James would be even better.
I’ve never know anyone named Colton., nn Colt. I think Cole is becoming more popular.

Could I talk you into Davis or Colt?
There was a Colton in my son’s preschool last year-along with a Colin, Caysen, Jackson, and Layton.
The n ending is just so popular, that I think either of these names is going to blend in more than you’d like.
At any rate, if that isn’t an option, I personally much prefer the sound of Colton, but I do think Davin is the more unusual of the two.
