Anneliese vs. I love it vs. wife doesn’t

I thought of Anneliese at work one day and was so excited, I emailed my wife to tell her and she politely told me she really didn’t like it. Is she wrong? I might work it so I am the one to tell the nurse the name and it would be legal then. Remember the old saying, ’It is easier to ask for forgiveness than permission.’

I love it! I think it is beautiful! But you might try asking about Anne Elise (in case she likes that as a fn mn combo).

Seriously? No, she is not wrong, an opinion can’t be wrong or right. What is wrong is that you want to "work it" so you can name her legally, shame on you! Maybe you can compromise and use Anneliese as the mn.

Oh no! Dont do that because it is deceptive. I would find another name that you both like. How about Analeigh or Annalie or Everleigh/Everlie ?

Don’t go behind your wife’s back. She is giving birth to the child, she deserves a say in its name. She has to do all the hard work, remember? Try to compromise!

This is probably fake - surely no man is really stupid enough to go behind his wife’s back after she’s just carried his child for 9 months and gone through labor. Seriously?

I personally like the name, but you need to pick a name you agree on because you both have to call the child that forever. My hubby and I have both given up on our favorite names to come up with a name we both like.
