I also have to say that any name that has potential teasing shouldn’t be used. I know you love the name, but how are you going to feel when your daughter comes home from school every day crying because of the teasing? And if she cries at school, she might hear..Oh look, Aleaky is leaking! or something like that. If you really love it, what about using it as a middle name? I hope I didn’t come across as rude...I was just trying to be honest. Good luck.

Well, there is a great children’s author named Aliki and she seems have done fine with it. I doubt there will be as much trouble as some people think. Better than my brother’s name, Amos--I’m sure I don’t have to tell you what rhyming word they called him in school.
