Joey love it vs. it’s okay vs. dislike it
Hey, we just found out it’s a second girl. We like unisex names on a girl with a really girlish, feminine middle names. At school, i’ve had a friend Joanna, everybody was calling her Joey, and i really loved it. Now we’re thinking to use it as a first name for our baby (no, we don’t like Joanna). We think it’s pretty sweet and would sound classy with a feminine mn, what do you think? Middle name suggestions would be nice. Thanks! ~Ally, Kevin, Harley and Presley.

Joey as a girl reminds me of Dawson’s Creek.
It’s okay but there will always be many more boy Joey’s than girls so she may feel weird having it.

Joey as a nickname is okay, but I think its a really dumb formal name for a girl.
Formal names = classy
nicknames = cute
I would vote for something like:
Josephine Lily nn Joey

How about Jocelyn with Joey as a nn?
I think Jocelyn fits in with harley and Presley, and it would give her more options.
You could also do Jolie, which I like a lot better than Joey.
At any rate, to answer your question, I really don’t care for Joey. I don’t think it’s a name that will age well, but then, I like boring, old-fashioned names.
I do like Alexandra as a mn suggestion.

I love the name Presley for girls. That one is on my list also. I also think Joey is a great name for a girl. Joey Olivia?
