Saffron reminds me of the UK TV show "Absolutely Fabulous". Not sure about naming your kid after a spice, but then it is a rare and expensive one. Astrid is cool. I went to school with a Dorothy, nn Dot, it was cute.

I think Astrid is great! Very hip. Love it.

Saffron just isn’t my style.
I’ve always liked Seneca, if you’re open to suggestions.

Dorothy is a name I want to like, as it’s my mom’s name, but I just don’t.
A form of Dorothy is Thea. I think Thea would be a darling little girl’s name, and it has the same great meaning-Gift from God.
