Please make that his middle name, you’ll do him a great favor,imo. Even if you call him Isaiah, Cuthbert will be what is on all his legal documents everywhere, including school.

I would def do Isaiah Cuthbert! I love using family names, but since you are going to call him Isaiah make it his first name...my dad goes by his mn and it has caused a lot of trouble for him even down to people trying to look him up in the phonebook!

I am not too fond of the name Cuthbert. If you really think you have to use it, DEFINITELY use it as a middle name!

I love both because of Matthew Cuthbert and Marilla Cuthbert from Anne of Green Gables. Since it is a family name I say go for it, and I love Isaiah. However, my husband goes by his mn and hates it, its a big pain in the rear. GL!!
