Hi. My husband hates the name Finn and loves Elliott. I am just not sure about the name Elliott. Our son could very well have red hair so keep that in mind! Thanks!

Dont go with a name that he hates especially for his son. I would go with Andrew Elliot Smith or Elliot Andrew Smith. Just make sure that hubby loves it :)
Not Finn. It doesn’t flow and it means ’finnish’ so even if you are, it sounds ridiculous. Elliot is ok, but I think Ian Andrew Smith is the best of those choices. Also that way neither of you has to sacrifice

I really like Elliot and I dont see a problem with the red hair thing...but if you arent sure then pick something you both like. Ian is nice...What about Oliver?

Well, my new son is going to be Christian Elliott and my older son is Dean Andrew, so Elliot Andrew easily gets my biased vote. However, if your not sure about Elliot, then the two of you should go back to the drawing board and find a name that you both love. I wouldn’t use Finn since dh doesn’t like it, plus, it doesn’t flow well with your last name. Do you both like Ian, equally? If so, then that’s the name you should use. GL!
