With a J it looks like JEN-na-E-vee. Looks strange.

I love G names, so I am a little biased. I think Genevieve is gorgeous.

At the same time, I agree with first poster, that there is something very wrong with the Jennaevie spelling. Why not do Jenevieve if you hate the G? At least people will still be able to read it as the sound of Genevieve.

Jennavieve is alright. Go for it.
Other names that can give you the "Evie" nn:
Eva
Evelyn
Eve
Maeve
Evangeline

I’m not sure whether you like the sound of Genevieve but not the look, or you feel you must use Genevieve b/c you want the nn Evie. If the 2nd is the case, I’d just use another "Eve" name from which Evie could be derived, like Evangelina or Neve.

If you really like the sound of Genevieve but the "G" is off-putting, Jennavieve would be an all right alternative. You may find Jenavive less cumbersome, however.

if you want to use the name Evie why not just call her Evie? our daughter is Evie May....
Jennaevie looks like too much of a mouthful?
