I voted for both. Because I know a boy and a girl with the name. I think it sounds like a boys name but it is okay as a girls name too. The little girl I know is 11 and she is African American...if that makes a difference...my point is the name sort of fits her. The boy is a 15 year old red head and it kind of fits him too! I think its okay for both.

not my favorite, but it is a boy’s name, imo. I prefer it spelled Darien.
