Ayla= AA-lah

In most cases, the original spelling is the best. Isla is one of those cases.

im with the first poster- Ayla is pronounced differntly to Isla. two different names

I know an Ayla who says it like Isla. I agree and I don’t love the spelling Isla, because I wouldn’t want people to say Iz-luh. Eyla would work too.

I chose Eyla. i think you will have trouble with the other too, no mattter which is the traditional spelling. You could also use Eila.
