Jaan Aleksander vs. Jaak Aleksander

Which name for our little boy? In english they’re said "John" and "Jack". The english version will be used only half the time and so we thought a traditional spelling would be better. We also have an older son named Jakob Kristian. Thanks ~Elen and Matti

Jaak--because I think people would say Jaan like Jan.

i think they’re both too close to Jakob, especially Jaak, if you want your son to be called ’John’ then call him John/Jon, i don’t think i can give you much more help because i don’t know the origin of these names, so i don’t really know what you’re looking for sorry, i prefer the spelling Alexander for the middle name
