What do you think vs. of "Zoe"?

I have loved this name since I was in high school, and my first child would have been Zoe, had he been a girl (he is a Keegan instead). Now that I am expecting a little girl in April, I am second guessing the name. I will put the pros and cons in the first comment, and please let me know what you think!

Pros:
- I am expecting in the spring, and Zoe means "life", a perfect spring name!
- It’s the only name I keep coming back to after years of thinking of baby names.

Cons:
- There is a Zoe on Sesame Street that is a furry orange monster.
- Our last name is "Olson". I worry that Zoe Olson has too much "oh" sound in it.

Opinions?

I think that the name Zoe is really cute, and i also like it spelled Zoey. I think it is really good with Keegan, and would be a great name.

I personally have never been very fond of the name, BUT think that you should use it b/c you love it so much. I don’t think the Zoe on Sesame Street is an issue - very few people seem to actually remember her name. If you are worried about the "oh" sound with your ln, then you could use Zoe as a mn.

Zoe is fine although I prefer it spelled Zoey. I also like Chloe.

I think Zoe is pretty! I like it without the y though. I think the Y make it more juvenile looking. I think it’s sounds fine w/your surname. I don’t think of the Sesame Street character at all. I forgot there was a character even named that! Lol. My kids were never really into that. I do think of Zoey 101, but that about it.

I have never loved the name, but if you do then use it! I would definitely use it without the y, with it it looks like Joey misspelled

Zoe Christine Olsen is adorable!

I don’t like it and don’t think it ages well but Zoe Olsen is fine I wouldn’t worry about it:)

What about Zoe April Olsen? Such spring beautiful name:)

OR name her after you! Zoe ____ Olsen! IF it goes. I’m named after my mom and I love it!

Zoe Olsen sounds GREAT!

Spell it different tho. Zoe=furry monster, Xoe=lesbo closeted from Family (a Double Shot at love), Zoey=boarding school girl played by prego teenager...you’ll need to be creative.

I wouldn’t let a stereotype get in the way of naming your child. She’s an individual you know.

We are deciding between Zoe and Zoey right now. I have also thought about ZoƩ but not sure. Her last name may change in her adult hood when she gets married but Zoe Olson is cute either way. We are going with Zoey Grace.
