I know 2 Helenas and they both pronounce their names Huh LEEN uh. I think Helena would be mispronounced more.

Hmm...The Elenas and Helenas I know all pronounce their names as you have them listed. Those are the pronunciations I would immediately think to use. Weird, maybe it’s where you come from..

All the Elenas I know pronounce it the way you have it. I wouldn’t change the spelling.
Elena seems a bit fresher than Helena, but they are both pretty. :)
