Charles would be nice, but not Charlie as a given name. He’ll have to spend his entire life explaining that his name isn’t Charles and that no, his parents aren’t hillbillies. Charles Arthur Adams would be a fantastic name.

I love Charles Arthur. That way, he won’t always have to be Charlie. I have 2 friends and one is called Charlie by his friends but his mom calls him Charl. The other one just goes by Charles. Charles is a name with a lot of nick name options. You can call him Charlie and he can choose what his friends call him.
