I don’t dislike the name, but for me it’s so common that I wouldn’t use it. I know several kids with that name.

I think as a middle name. Lincoln is a surname and president Abe lincoln. Would get that a lot. I think a ’real’ first name would be great.

I don’t like Lincoln as a fn. Link doesn’t age well and wouldn’t be taken seriously. But I wouldn’t want to have to say Lincoln everyday. I think it’d serve better as a mn.

Great name sake, so I think it would work fine. It’s a trend to use surnames as first names anyway.
