Lilly vs. Yes vs. No

My hubby want to name daughter Lillian after his mom nn Lilly. I can stand Lillian but think Lilly is the most childish name ever! In my mind it does not age well and I don’t care for girly names. We have a niece in the fam already with middle name Lillian I don’t know if I can talk him into it because he’s wanted to name his daughter Lillian Rose forever. But it’s to popular and flowery. What do you think? What should I do? thanks

I LOVE Lillian Rose!! It is super adorable and its after his mother! I love family names.

Lilly is a good nickname but I agree it sounds young, so just start calling her Lillian as she grows older... I think Lilly Rose is a cute nickname

I like it, but you should love your daughter’s name.

Lilah Rose is beautiful. Maybe show him the social security site that shows how popular a name is? He has to understand that it’s not all his decision. You’re the pregnant one and you’re doing all of the work!
