Claire vs. Charlotte vs. Madeline

I’m due in April with my first child, a baby girl, and am having a hard time choosing between my top three favorites. My husband is no help--he just tells me he likes all three! Any opinions would be appreciated. If anyone has any thoughts on middle names, that would also be great.

I love the name Madeline. Do youo want to pronounce it MadeLINE or Lyn? If lyn, then i think Madeline Claire is Adorable!

Thank you for the great responses! I would like Madeline to be pronounced MadeLYN--I think that sounds nice with Claire as a middle name (I hadn’t thought about that before). Thanks for all the middle name options for Claire too. I have a lot of option to consider!

I dont like Madeline I think its too trendy and overused. There is already way too many Maddies out there. Claire is my favorite from your choices. GL!

Since your ln is long I would use a short fn. Claire Williamson is beautiful and has a great flow. I love Claire Madeline. Good luck!

Madeline is very popular (and if you want it pronounced Mad-eh-lyn, then I would spell it Madeleine). I really dislike Charlotte. But I LOVE Claire!!!!!! It’s one of my favorite names. :-)
