Hone your baby naming skills and help others. Which baby names are best?
This is going to sound far fetched...I know, but please bare with me because it’s what I’m going through right now. I’m younger (not too young, but just younger) and recently found out I’m pregnant. My boyfriend, the father of the baby passed recently in an unexpected accident. If my baby is a boy, his name will be Crew Michael, a name that my boyfriend liked and a name that honors him very well. If it is a girl, I have no clue what to do. We never talked girl names because we weren’t even thinking about having kids yet, the boy name just came up one day. I really like Jolie Grace, but he has a niece named Jolene. I feel that it is far too close and I would never want to do that to the family. I can’t even find a place to begin. I want something a bit different without sounding too trashy and teen mom-ish. I don’t like too out there, but something that isn’t too common. A few examples are Jolie, Eliana, and Nova. Please, please help me. Thank you so much! ~Jess
What do you think of the name Esther for our little one? Thanks.
Please make combinations (bbb, ggg, bbg & ggb):
Girl first names: Penelope, Francesca, Felicity, Madison, Juliette, Mackenzie and Julianna. Girl middle names: Jane, Sarah, Hannah, Jade, Rylee and Gracie. Boy first names: Maxwell, Finnegan, Finnley, Nicholas, Jeremiah and Jackson. Boy middle names: David, Scott, Calvin, Lucas, Chase and Blake.
Hey! We have finally decided on the name Ezra but we are finding it impossible to find a middle name which flows nicely (no filler names). Any ideas?
Or Kelly Matthew? Which first name for middle name Matthew. We are not sure if Greer is a unisex name or a girls name but we really like it we feel it’s more uncommon than the name we orginally were going to go with which was Gray. We are not looking for suggestions so please don’t offer any. Older brothers name is Casey. Thank you
My grandma’s name is Joann and I love the idea of naming my child after her but only subtly because I don’t exactly want to name my child Joann. Something more modern is what I’m going for! I just love the NN Jojo for a boy or a girl :)
Hi we are expecting our first child, and its a girl! We have a list of names we really like and would like your help choosing one. She will be tall (we have tall families and were are 5’10 and 6’5), probably athletic, African American, have black/brown hair and brown eyes. Thank you -Simone
Hello me and my husband have 3 kids all girls and our expecting our 4th (another girl) and are struggling to choose a name the fits nicely with our other daughters names. Here are there names: Daisy Elizabeth (8), Oakley Tamara (6) and Faith Victoria (3) also our last name is Luxembourg. We had a list of 5 names but have now narrowed it down to 3. Our favorite name is Dahlia but the fact the one of our kid’s name already starts with a D that bothers us.
Can’t decide between these names for our baby girl! Which do you prefer? Is Juliet too Shakespearean? Also middle names are appreciated! :)
Thank you! Trying to narrow down girl names. :-)
List in the comments. Trying to narrow down our list of names, feel free to mix and match. Thanks- Hayley and Bryan
