I’m looking for something handsome, masculine, and not too common. Baby boys middle name will be Lucas. My husband and I have three older children; Ashton Samuel (8), Mira Gabrielle (6), and Josephine Lily (3).
If our first child is a girl we are 100% set on the first name being Tauriel(tor-ee-el). We know it is a name from a fictional language in a fictional book/movie(J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Hobbit) and it may be super weird to most but we love the sound and the meaning, "daughter if the forest," so it stays and it stays as the first name. Tori can be used as a nickname later for something more "normal." Please don’t bash it. We’ve actually had mostly good feedback when bringing it up to family and others where we live but we haven’t confirmed that it is what we are using for a girl though. If you just dislike Tauriel that much, ignore the first name and focus on the middle names and vote between them please. We can’t decide between the 3. Thanks. ~Heather
For triplets? We love these names but do you think they are good for triplets?
Baby girl due in April and we still need help deciding her name! Suggestions are more than Welcome! Last name is Clark! Thank u so much!!
We are expecting our second, and last, and it’s another little girl. I really wanted to name this baby after my Dad (& Grandpa & Great Grandpa) but since it’s a girl we are having to work a little harder. Davina is the feminine form of David (which is/was their name) and we wanted to hear some other opinions on it. My husband and I both like it more because of my family than how it sounds but we do both think it’s pretty. We’ve also considered other names with the same meaning (beloved) but decided that the connection wasn’t strong enough. Our older daughter is Lucille Regina. We will probably end up using the name regardless but if we get lots of negative responses it will probably go in the middle spot (even though we do prefer it as a first). Thanks for commenting!
my daughter is due february 14 and we are naming her Calliope she doesn’t have a middle name yet though we are thinking of deneige but aren’t sold. Any suggestions are welcome. -Paloma and Andrea
I really want to name my son after my grandfather, Lucien. Sadly, I don’t care for the name Lucien or his middle name, Earl. So I am wondering if Luke/Lucas could work to honor Lucien? All opinions and suggestions are welcome! TIA!
We have been trying for awhile and finally have twins to name. These will undoubtedly be our only children so we want to get the names to feel perfect to us. We love all the names, so please no unkind comments if they’re not your cup of tea . We just want advice on which combinations sound best together, and with our surname. Many thanks! PS We are open to suggestions for re-arranging the combinations if you think you have a better way.
I have a little girl, Willow. I’m having another and we don’t know what to name her, any ideas?
Which name do you like most? Middle name suggestions are welcome!
We first had two wonderful biological children, Elsie Hazel and Henry Jasper. Then we adopted two wonderful children, Milo Felix and Seren Gracie. We thought our family was complete but are surprised and pleased to find ourselves expecting again. We really hadn’t expected to have to pick another name and are just not sure about the three above. Your thoughts please. Feel free to mix and match!
My husband and I are expecting our second set of twins, this time boys and we would like help finding their names. Older twin sisters are Indie and Esme(3). Names we can’t use are Asher, Finn and Luca as those are our nephews names.
