Hi guys so I’m gonna post my list in the comments but I’m having a real hard time trying to find a name I like for my son. Every name I come up with my mom turns down and hates it. She keeps telling me these ridiculously popular names that I dont prefer. So my friend told me about this site and I’ve decided to come here for help. I dont want my son to have a "teen mom"/popular name that the kids in my school are giving their kids ie Raelyn, Braylen, Jace, Sophia, Payton, Kaiden etc. Most of the names are names you here but aren’t used so often so you only meet like one or two at school. Although there are a few that are more popular and some are less popular. Anyway please tell me which ones you like the best and/or the ones you don’t like and maybe why. Thanks so much! Katie :) x

My husband and I are big fans of Harry Potter and would like to reflect that in our daughter’s middle name. We’re not so sure about the character’s names but Bill suggested Alohomora, one of the spells in the books. The names we’re considering are very common and conventional, Elizabeth, Emma, Caroline, Catherine and Mary, and our surname is Day so short and easy to pronounce, so do you think Alohomora would work for the middle name, eg. Emma Alohomora Day?

Our kids names are Reina(10), Regina(7), Ryder(6), Rhydian(3), and Rhys(3). We’re having a girl(she will be our last child) and she needs an R name to match all her siblings.

I’m 24 weeks pregnant with my first baby. A girl! And I really like names ending in ra, da, or la, but I just can’t find the perfect one. If you would please recommend some names with those endings. Thanks, and good luck!

We have a list of rare boy names for our soon to be third child (gender unknown). Could you pick your favorite 2 or 3 and maybe suggest a few more unusual/rare boy names? We have picked Mabel Cassidy, Ebony Samantha or Coral Grace for a girl. He/she joins Zion Gabriel and Ren Arthur. Thank you. -Morris Family

If you had a child named Richard, what would you call him? Would you use the full name or a nickname like Ricky, Rich, etc. Our son is going to be named Richard after my husband’s Grandfather, but we aren’t sure what to call him. What would you do? Thanks.
