My husband wants to honor is grandfather, Theodore "Teddy." Problem is, I HATE the name Theodore. It reminds me of those chipmunks. Are there any other full names for the nickname Teddy?

Hi we are expecting our first girl and are looking for some suggestions. We want something that’s strictly feminine and not too popular (nothing in top 300). She will have big brother named Marley. Thanks -Laura

I posted this yesterday and got some opinions but I’d like some more. We like Araminta and my husband really likes the nickname Minty. A couple of people didn’t like Minty as a nickname on the last poll. Could anyone tell me why? It seems cute to me and it wouldn’t be used full time. Thanks for any thoughts on Araminta.

I need help picking a nickname for Leonardo Jr that ISN’T Leo, JR, Lee, Ned, Nardo, or Lenny. With some letter and sound play, we came up with the 3 above. We figure if Dick is a nickname for Richard, Jack a nickname for John, and Billy a nickname for William, why not stretch it a bit? Nickname suggestions are welcome! Thank you!~Leo and Hanna

My husband and I have looking for names for our twins and I think we have finally decided on four name choices for twin B with the help of previous polls. We really like the sound of C names with Twin A’s name Emmett. The names for Twin B are: Caleb, Callum, Cole, and Canyon. Which one goes best with Emmett?

Are any of these names usable in real life either as first or middle names? Are the names too strongly connected to the historical, mythological or literary characters who bore them? Would they cause embarrassment or ridicule for a boy growing up? Is there one that would be fine to use? I’m looking for some honest opinions but please don’t be rude while expressing them. Thanks.

You may have seen some of these names rssently because I have been slowly adding and knocking names off my list.eliminatw no more than 3 you can also save 1 name if you’d like. Also if you can please stat why you eliminate that name because I find it better to get rid of a name when there is reason. Thanks names will be in comments

I’ve been posting on Persephone, which is still number 1 on our list, but we also received some great suggestions that we really like and never thought of. I love long names while my husband loves something short and spunky to call em by. We have a son Ozzy (Odysseus). I will post our little list in the first comment. Please let us know which name and nickname you like best. Thank you!

When I went to update my poll, I couldn’t find it? I’ll post it in the first comment, eliminate 3 and bring back 1 if you so please. Her brother is named Odysseus and called Ozzy. Thanks again!

My husband and I found out last week that our first child is a girl and we could not be more excited! Our only problem is that between the two of us we have a ton of names we love so we need help finding her name, you can use the list to come up with first name middle name combos if you like. The names we love are Esme, Willow, Harper, Scarlett, Indie, Layla, Hadley, Charlotte, Isla, Eisley, Elowen and Harlow. For specifically middle names we have Lynn, Katherine and Ann as they are family names
