These are pronounced differently - Ca-MEE-la, or Ca-MILL-a. Is there a sound you like better?

Usually these names are pronounced differently. Camila is pronounced kam-mee-luh and Camilla is pronounced kam-mill-uh. Personally I prefer Camilla, so it got my vote. But it really just depends on which you like better.

Agree that they are pronounced differently. Just depends which way you prefer. They are both beautiful. Good luck! :0)

Both names are pronounced as Ca-Mill-a in English. Regardless of double L or not both spellings are pronounced as Ca-MEE-la in other languages like French, Portuguese, Spanish, Russian etc.
