I don't love the name but I don't think it wouldn't age well, it totally works for adults. I don't like Penny though as a nickname. I do like Pen/Penn or just Penelope.

I'm not a fan but I don't hate it. Honestly, I think it sounds much better on an older person. I have trouble seeing it on a baby or toddler, though I know it's relatively popular for this generation and I'll probably meet one.
My favorite nn for it is Pixie. Penny, Poppy and Nell/Nelly are other options if you want to use a nickname. I've heard of Penelope nn Pepper, too.

I neither love it nor hate it. I like tge suggestion of Penelope nn Elle rather than nn Penny. Penny is not cute.

It's a name that's just there. I feel like it's one of those names that are only cute on a little girl but that is just my own insight. I don't like the sound of it tbh

Two problems: I hate the "pene" part pointed out in Penelope. And the "pee" sounds at the end of Penelope make it a "dirty" little name, to be frank.
