How should vs. We spell vs. "Leera" ?

I love the name pronounced "Leera" but I don't like this spelling. I LOVE Lyra, but worry if people will say it "Ly" as in rhyming with "bye" Is there a way I can spell it that looks nice and is (relatively) easy to pronounce? Thank you.

Lyra is the proper spelling. Not your problem if people can't read.

Lyra will most definitely be pronounced Ly-ra a lot so I'd go with a different option too. Lira would be darling.

Lira, like the currency.

Lyra is pronounced like Lyre the instrument, but with an A at the end.

Lyra is definitely pronounced Lye-ra so if you're going for Lee-ra, spell it like the Italian currency: Lira

Lira, like the currency would probably be the best way to get leer-a. I can understand your not wanting to spell it leera.
