I personally prefer Miles. Milo is the name of a chocolate drink and sounds more like a pet name to me.

But you should choose whichever YOU prefer. This is your child not your family's child. Their opinion is irrelevant. The only ones that matter are yours and the child's father.

I voted for Miles as my personal favorite but if you went with that then I think you should just call him Miles all the time.
If you really love Milo then just name him Milo (which is nice too)
The only thing I'm not a fan of is Miles nicknamed Milo.
I feel like it should just be one or the other.

I love Milo. It is a very handsome name. It should stay as Milo. It is a name in its own right.

I like Milo best! Miles just makes me think of the word miles/mile, as in the unit of length. But that's just my opinion. Both are separate names though, but they both come from the same origin. Milo is a Ancient Germanic name and the Latinized form of Miles. Miles actually comes from the name Milo, it was the form of the name that the Normans introduced to England. So both are legitimately full names, not just a nickname of one another. I think you should go with whichever you like best, no matter what anyone else says. From what you said it seems like you prefer Milo. So in my opinion if you love Milo, use it.
