Elisha vs. Ellisha vs. Elicia

Honoring Alicia, but want the name to start with E instead of A if possible. Would any of these work, or do they look made up? Suggestions welcome, comments appreciated.

I love Elisha! Ive also seen Ellisha before, but I think it looks cleaner with one L.

Elicia looks kind of made up though. looks like a typo for Alicia

Each of the names you have on the poll I would say differently.
Elisha- ee-lie-shaw
Ellisha- ell-ish-ah
Elicia- ell-ee-see-ah

Elisha is said with a long I sound, so I wouldn't use that for Alicia.

I once knew an Elysia el-EE-see-uh, which is how some people pronounce Alicia. Given your spellings though, I'm guessing you say uh-LEE-sha. Why does it have to start with an E but be pronounced exactly the same as Alicia?

The only spellings I've seen for uh-lee-sha are Alicia and Alisha. There's Felicia, so I suppose Elicia would make sense but it does look made up.

Elise would be a way to honor Alicia with an E name.

Thanks everyone!! Still deciding on the pronunciation. It would be Eh-lee-shuh or Eh-lih-shuh. I appreciate the feedback! :)

If you want to honor Alicia with an E, how about Elise, Elisa, Elysia, or Elyssa?

Elisha is a boys name, try Elysia for a girl.

I've only ever met boys named Elisha/Ellisha, so maybe skip those. Elicia is beautiful, and Elisa would work too!
