Unless you're Irish, I wouldn't use caoimhe. Saoirse is beautiful, but I also only know the pronunciation because of the actress. People will constantly have trouble with all of these, but they are nice names.

Mairead gmv. Utterly gorgeous. Have loved it since I was little.
My parents had friends from Ireland. We called them Uncle James and Auntie Mairead. Personally I thought of them as Uncle Jam and Auntie Marmalade because I've always had a sweet tooth. But really, it still stands up as maybe my favorite Irish girl's name. For those new to it, it's "muh-RAYD" rhyming with parade and Sinead. It's their form of Margaret, meaning pearl.
Saoirse and Caoimhe are lovely too. Good luck! :0)

@FredaCat I have a friend who recently posted that she named her daughter Mairead, and I had no idea how to pronounce it, so thank you haha! It's a lovely name :)

Saoirse is beautiful too, but I can echo previous comments that I only know how to say it because of the actress and it will probably cause a lot of people to struggle with spelling and pronunciation

Alyeska -- glad it helped. Btw, how do you pronounce your name? Is it "al-YES-kuh," "al-YESH-kuh," or another way?
Apologies to the poll parent(s) if this digresses. :0)

Thanks to my spending too much time on this website, I knew how to pronounce all the names in your poll! And I think Mairead sounds the prettiest. I'm in the US and have not met anyone with any of these names yet, so depending on where you live, you may have to educate people on the pronunciation, but that's not a bad thing. My daughter has an Aoife in her class. I think once you know someone with the name, it's not too hard to remember how to say it.

I think a lot of people in the US have learned to pronounce Saoirse thanks to the actress. So I'd go with that one cause it may cause less pronunciation problems. I didn't know how to pronounce the other until Fredacat's comment

I've always liked Saoirse, ever since I learned how to pronounce it. I've heard it's supposed to be "Seer-shuh" which I like, but apparently the actress Saoirse Ronan says her name "Sur-shuh" which I still like. Very beautiful name. I would be a little conscious though that people will often pronounce it wrong / not even know how to say it when they see it spelled out. But then again same goes for your other two options. Good luck !

Saoirse Ronan even said that when she visits Ireland, the people there tell her "you're pronouncing your name wrong" because it's traditionally "Seer" but her parents wanted "Sur" I do however think it's the most common one of the bunch to people in North America. Because we've seen it more.
