Teddie vs. Teddy

What spelling should we use for our baby boys nickname? It's silly but I prefer how Teddie looks. I know the 'ie' is usually feminine, but I keep coming back to Eddie also ending in 'ie'. Anyway, your votes and/or comments are appreciated. Thanks!

Teddy isn't going to age well. Teddy is the better for sure because Teddie is feminine but Teddy doesn't age well. I would name him Theodore and use Teddy as a nn instead

Hi Guest, we will be using it for a nickname! We mentioned that above ^ 😊

I think Teddie is fine for a boy nickname. I don't think it necessarily comes across as feminine.

It will be constantly mispelled.

If you like Teddie best, use that spelling. You are correct, Eddie/Eddy can be spelled either way. Names get misspelled no matter what you do. You can't completely prevent that. I would not let that be a dealbreaker.

Teddie will be just fine. It's a nickname. I don't see how people think it's feminine. Most ridiculous thing ever. Just pick what you love. He'll be fine.

Hardly anyone is writing his nickname out unless he decides to go by it's strictly. I never wrote my friend's nicknames on like invitations or when we were in school together so doubt it will be written a bunch.
