Rosa is beautiful and so uncommon! Eliza is my second choice.

I voted Mila before I saw how you're pronouncing it. It will always be said me-la (which is what I was voting for) but now I'd change my vote to Eliza

All lovely names! Eliza gmv :) It's so classic, but still a little different than the more-common Elizabeth. I agree with others that people would probably stumble with the pronunciation of Mila.

Rosa is too common for my taste . Mila. I've never pronounced it ME-LA. I like it MY-LA so that is my vote

How is Rosa too common? I've known 2 personally in my whole life. Rose is a common middle name but I almost never meet anyone named Rosa. Maybe it depends where you live? I think it's lovely! Sweet and more charming than plain Rose. Rosa would be adorable for a baby but also suit her well into old age. I also think of Rosa Parks so it's a strong name as well as being flowery.

I prefer My-la to Mee-la, but I think most people are going to end up saying Mee-la so that might get annoying. Possible alternative: Maya/Maia, which will get you the long I sound you want.

I've never liked Eliza, sorry. I just end up hearing "lies." I do like Elisa (el-lee-sah)

They call any name common. Checked the SSA for fun and it's literally in the 600's. How more uncommon can you get? Back in 2000 it was 300 so it's only dropping, which makes for an ACTUALLY UNCOMMON choice nowadays. So I like Rosa. It's actually uncommon. The others are VERY common compared to it.

It probably depends on the area. I know multiple Rosas.

Mila or Myla! Most people will pronounce it Me-la because of the famous actress Mila Kunis. Eliza would be my second choice. Maybe for a middle name or sister?

If uncommon is what you're going for definitely not Mila or Eliza! They're so common, pretty sure both are in top 100. Going off the other Guest's SSA comment then Rosa. Never met one but god it seems like every other baby is named Mila or something lol
