Ray vs. Raylin vs. Raylene

Ray was going to be used for a boy. But, we're having a girl and I don't like any other name. I liked it for a boy because it sounded kind of soft. Although it was a punch to it at the same time. I think that it could perfectly fit a girl as well. What are your thoughts? If not, do you like Raylin or Raylene? Raelynn is another opinion. I'm open to the spelling of Rae, but I like writing the y.

My friend named her daughter Rey. I think there is a Star Wars connection to that spelling? Anyway, I think you can use the name as is, although I do like Raelynn and Rayna/Reina too.

Soraya is an excellent suggestion. I know a child named Raya who is also called Ray and I think that's a great way to go.
