Caoimhe vs. Keeva vs. Keva

We will be pronouncing it as Kee-va. All three are pronounced the same depending on what part you are from in Ireland, but worry with the spelling Caoimhe as we do not live in Ireland and feel it will be mispronounced a lot. Thank you!

If I knew you lived in the UK I would say go for Caoimhe as it's close enough to get the Gaelic-ish-ness. But Keeva is the usual Anglicized spelling that I've seen so that seems the way to go here. Are you honoring a Kevin, or just like it for itself. Either way, a great off-the-beaten-track choice. Good luck! :0)

If you were set on Caoimhe, I'd support you. My daughter has a classmate Aoife so it's not impossible. Just don't expect her teachers, receptionists, telemarketers, etc. to get her name right on the first try.
However, if you have doubts about it or don't want to deal with always telling people how to say it, then use Keeva. I can't see anyone messing that up. Keva people might say keeva or kayva.
