Name meanings help people choose their children's names. She might like that Whitley means White Meadow or she might not like it at all.

My maiden name is Whitley. Can't imagine it being used as a first name, it just sounds so abrasive & unattractive to me. Also, got called white-lee a lot.
I'd def choose Wrenlie in this scenario but do you like Wrenley?

No meanings don't help. Some people don't even care if what the meaning is . I think flow is more important. Does it flow with the last name .
