I like them both, but it depends on how you want it pronounced. I feel like by default people will pronounce Bridget like Bridge-it, and Bridgette like Bridge-et

I love the name Bridget.It's so spunky!
Personally I prefer the simpler spelling.I think that's the way the majority of people are going to assume it's spelled (in part because of associations they may have with the name like Bridget Jones Diary for example) so it will save you from having to correct people.

Bridget and Bridgette will sound like bridge-it.
Brigitte will sound like Bridgeet. Brigid is bridge-id. My daughter's middle name is Brigida.
