Fortunately, this is not your child. We love Rhys and we won't change the spelling to satisfy others. How does naming our child something you don't like going to have affect on your life? Are you really going to lose sleep at night over a little girl named Rhys?

Have you considered the affect it may have on.. the girl herself? She could very much hate having a boy name, ESPECIALLY the boy spelling of a name you could very much choose a feminine spelling for. This little trend of giving your daughters male names is so selfish and stupid lol. But sure it won't affect us, let's hope the poor girl can say the same

Rhys is the ONLY spelling we like for our child. The spelling is non-negotiable. We are not changing the spelling because others don't like Rhys for our child. Thank you, but we are content with our choice to name her Rhys. We don't care to discuss this anymore, so just let's just end this here.
