IF we have a girl, we want to give her a full name with the nickname Penny. My husband came across Spencer and thought of Penny as the nickname. Penelope can't be used because of the 'Pene' part in the name, a term for a male body part in my husband's native tongue. Aspen is also out -- it sounds like '***.p.e.n' to us. Other potential full names for Penny don't work for us. So our question is: Does Spencer work well with the nickname Penny?

I don't care for Spencer (either gender) but Yes, it does work as a full name for Penny. I also think that just Penny works as a full name.
