Louis vs. Louie

We really love the name Loo-ee for a boy. As far as I'm aware Louis is the traditional spelling and I think since Louis Vuitton is such a known designer it shouldn't be too hard for Louis to be recognised as loo-ee. Or would Louie be easier? Thank you!

You can still use the Louie spelling as a nn. But he deserves a grown-up spelling for a fn. Good luck! :0)

Louis. It's no biggie if some people spell it like a nn Louie sometimes, but Louis pronounced Loo-ee is always going to be the smarter way to go. Most people will get it just fine.
