Emma Jean Willow gmv. Lovely. Emma Jean Kate is my second choice.
I prefer Imogen to Emma Jean. But Imogen is "IM-uh-jen" not Emma Jean. The first syllable of Imogen is like image and the last syllable like generous. Imogene ("-jeen") would be closer, but still not the same. So Emma Jean is clearly your best bet. Far less headaches. Good luck! :0)

The way we will pronounce it is Emma Jean!

Lol. The ego necessary to change the history and pronunciation of a name is astounding. Definitely a white American.

You can't just DECIDE a name is pronounced a certain way and expect the world to follow suit when everyone else pronounces it differently.Your daughter would be in for a lifetime of hassle.Every time a future teacher, employer, etc. sees Imogen on paper and says im-uh-jen and she has the awkward situation of having to say "no it's Emma Jean" then she looks ignorant even though it's not her fault because the other person is thinking to themselves "What? that's not how you say that name"
Anyhow if you are set on that then please choose Emma Jean and ideally hyphenate it so people realize they are supposed to say both names otherwise she's probably just going to end up being Emma 99% of the time.
Emma-Jean Willow (my fave)
Emma-Jean Lilly
Emma-Jean Ivy
Emma-Jean Kate
are all nice.

Probably a 'non-white' American actually. Haters like you love respelling and mis-pronunciating traditional names just to feel special.

So sick of racism on this site. Racism towards anyone, 'white' or 'non-white' is racism. Period. Not appropriate so knock it off.

Worrying about the race of someone cause they mispronounce a name is peak first world problems lmao. It's never that deep I promise you. You look like an idiot, those two Guests.
Emma Jean makes the most sense. Imogen will almost 99% of the time get the usual pronunciation, which isn't really close to Emma Jean.

Don't bother with Imogen if you're going to mispronounce it. You obviously want Emma Jean.

Imogene would be close but if you're weirdly insisting on the pronunciation Emma Jean, it's unclear to my why it's even a question. Obviously just use the name you want, which is clearly Emma Jean.

If you change the pronunciation of a well known name she will spend her whole life correcting people and being called the wrong name. Save her the lifetime of frustration and hassle and just call her Emma Jean if that's what you want to call her

Emma-Jean gmv since as pointed out, that is not how you pronounce Imogen, and if you don't hyphenate it people will call her Emma (tbh they're likely to just call her Emma anyway)
